VAE POSTCARD

This was a very nice project because of the creative freedoms it allowed us and the many different mediums we were allowed to use.

for my post card I used about 5 different techniques I started with the layer of tissue paper, then I drew the hand on construction paper, cut it out and painted it with black acrylic paint and it was modpodged on to the post card. I painted each individual flower and 

the next step was to embroider the whole border and then add embroidered leaves to the flowers. the last step was to add a bit of glitter to tie it all together.

My theme was my favorite season which happens to be spring because things are being reborn, I incorporated this into the card with the flowers and pink & green elements.
